Cultural Bridges

Cultural Bridges brought together eight cultural institutions from across the European Union to create a shared digital platform for multilingual artistic exchange. The project addressed the fragmentation of cultural programming across borders by providing a unified space where artists and curators could collaborate on cross-border exhibitions and residencies.

Over 18 months, the consortium produced 12 collaborative exhibitions reaching audiences in 14 countries. The multilingual website served as both a project hub and a living archive, featuring content in six EU languages with real-time translation workflows. Golden Blue delivered the full site in two weeks, including the custom translation pipeline and artist profile system.

The project demonstrated how digital infrastructure can amplify cultural participation across linguistic boundaries. Post-project surveys showed a 40% increase in cross-border cultural engagement among partner organisations, and the platform model has since been adopted by two additional Creative Europe consortia.
